  1. Beacon Cleaning & Repairs

    I Will edit this post with all beacon stuff as blog is getting a bit fragmented so will try to keep it a bit tidier ?
    Stripped the beacon and started to clean it up and get it working,

    10 mintes with some T cut What a difference

    Going to fit some extra Flashing LEDs just in-between rotary lights and centre panel,
    Well it took a month for the flashing LED Lights to arrive The Beacon is finished and ready to fit,

  2. SuperWinch X6 Cleaning & Repairs

    When I stripped this winch I was amazing at how sized it was every thing was rusted up I thought it was scrap got every thing cleaned up and working

  3. Collected a doner Vehicle today

    This one’s got a TURBO Peugeot Engine



    Traveled 170 miles to collect the red doner the guy told me the bonnet was good! I’d love to see a crap one Then !!!


    Lots more stripping done engine gearbox, Front & Rear axles & Springs, Prop shafts, Shell gone to scrap yard now,


    The steps were good so why make some when you can just cut them out


    Removed wheels from both motors and this is the best of 14 shouldn’t need to buy tyres for a while,

    Desided is was time to fit the Turbo Engine

    The old Normally aspirated Peugeot 2.5 Diesel, For sale if any body’s interested only 44,000 from new Ex MOD,



    The Turbo Peugeot 2.5 Engine ready to fit, fitted new clutch while it was out,

    Starter Exhaust and radiator to fit tomorrow,

    All done Turbo conversion complete,

    Exhaust fitted too this came from the red doner and is in very good condition should last a while,

  4. Front Brakes

    Got these new discs the other day for free just shipping to pay from a very nice man in Nottinghamshire Thanks again Steven.

    I’ve also got these ! Witch have cleaned up quite nicely, So witch do I fit ??


    Well I decided to use the old used discs and keep the new for later, the drivers side calliper was in bad condition so replaced it with one from the red turbo van, Greased the kingpins while it was jacked up,
    The disc’s on the right in these pictures just sailed through the MOT and worked fine on break tester I just didn’t like them !!,



  6. New Toy’s

    Added a bit of cool lighting to truck ! Daylight running lights,

    Though I’d join the safety brigade and get some Dash-Cams Did some 40k in big truck last year that’s a lot of foolish drivers well if you can call them drivers !!

    Picked up a A Bar to mount front spots on, Just need to decide were to mount spots and how many to have, ! Think there better on out side and I have 4 so !

    Decided on out sides bottom 2 will come on with main beam and top 2 will be on a switch,

    I love eBay some times picked this up for £6.50
