All the main parts are bean collected ready for the Build

Picked this Isuzu NQR70 up with a Roger Dyson TXL twin deck body, It’s got all the bits with it, Will just need hydraulics pack converting to 12v and the Super Winch replacing,

    The eBay pictures

    Got it Home

Body stripped off and ready to start prepping it for the Iveco

Not sure if I’m going to use these angled chassis extensions, There very Heavy,

The old Isuzu truck off to the big grave yard

Little more progres at the new place,

And the body tested with full lift and it’s about 50mm too fare back,

After a little cutting and trimming the body is as fare forward as it will go,

Well I had to cut 555mm of the body to make the overhang legal,

    Rear end rebuild and Towbar,

Think some smaller wheel arches are required !

Coulden’t find any wheel arches in the size I wanted so did a little cut n shut on them lol

So I learned to tig well this is about 2.5hrs including practice time, Made some brackets to mount rear arches,

The out come is a mudgaurd mounted,

This is my own design Light mounting unit swivel over or round It make car drivers give me more
    space when strapping cars on,

The presure is on now must have this on the road last day of July,

Brackets fitted and a splash of paint,

    Mounting lugs welded on

    Finaly fitted ready for drilling,

    Getting so close now

    Ramps

Desided to make the ramps out of aluminium a 2 stage design like the one’s I did for my LDV recovery But wider ! they were great for loading low cars like M3 BMW’s etc.

I’m enjoying learning to TIG weld it’s like gas welding, I use to do and seem’s to have most of the control I was use to, Too lol

Lower ramps are on there way It’s nice welding new aluminium

    Ramps are finished at last,

    Hydraulics Pack

The Hydraulics pack was very rusty and 24v,

After lots of cleaning and trouble with the motor running backwards finally got it running and ready to fit,

Tested it and it’s quick ! better than the 24v version,
