I got this in September 2010
The donor vehicles for this project Was going to be a (sierra 2.8 v6 4×4) Now It’s AJaguar XJR 4.0 Supercharged V8,
All the drive train engine, gear box front and rear suspension,
Glass & door trims from a capri mk2/3

I got this from a guy called Andy in the Wigan area he bought the kit new for £2000 and had it around half built then took it apart again he owned it for some 22 years and never got it finished,
I bought it off him and have now had it since October 2010 and still not done a lot with it but hope to soon, I can remember going to the factory when I was about 18 there was a jag based Carrera there it looked fantastic hope My version looks as good when I get time to do it,
I’ve had a re-think and it’s now going to be a Jaguar XJR 4.0 Supercharged so any comments about 4×4 AWD are out of date,
This is the Doner Vehicle, I’m going to run this untill i do the Carlton or untill it needs so much welding I can’t be bothered lol,

Stripped out the Sierra 4×4 this weekend with a lot of help from my son leon we got the front and rear suspension engine and box out of the Sierra and under the Carlton the wheel look so small gona have to put some 20″ deep dish alloys and 275/40s on there to fill those arches
2.8 v6 4×4 engine and transmission sat in place
Note the drive shafts to the front wheels
a view at the Sierra rear independent suspension in place
Land Rover Wheels fill them arches out nicely LOL
This is the color I’m having it one day lol
Well this turned out to be a complete waist of time and Money the guy that was soppose to rent me some space Turned out to be a complete waist of space himself So it time for this project to sleep for about a 3-4 years now,

I’m retiring so it’s time to take this project home and do it at a leisurely pace

This was not a good day!, It took a further 6 hours to clean up the mess and get it out,
A little wash to get the 5 years grime off it,
Getting it in
These are the uprights for the next lift, They plug into the ramp arms so should be nice and secure,
I’ll weld them up in morning then make the cross rails
Still more time required to get it tothe top
This has taken 6 long day to move from old workshop to here,
