Picked this up off eBay in April left it in storage at transport yard that sold me it, It was supposed that engine was blown !,

So this is the base truck as it was when I went to see it,
The vendor wanted some time to remove the body and I had no space for it, So we agreed it would stay there till September whtch gave me time to finish my Iveco Twin deck,

Collected the truck
With pickup body off and cleaned up a bit, looks like it will be a nice little truck just a bit of blistering on front wings ! normal for a Transit lol,

Picked up a 14 foot MK5 transit Recovery body up from Bradford
It had some MK5 chassis extentions left on it at the back welded in place, just had to try it on for size, When It put the body it was about 2 foot from cab and was spot on for a MK6 overhang making it a 16 foot body,

First fitting of body
Cut the winch mount from body and mount it on chassis end in front of body it also means it’s nice and low so cars can sit over the winch giving a full 16 foot platform,
Had some new 7 foot ramps made for better loading of new cars,
Winch fitted and working, Time to put some Cable and a hook on

Time to start Cleaning things up
Some paint on body looking nice,
Front wings needed and arches little attention,
Wheels painted and out side for some update pictures,

Clean chassis and paint some Hammerite smooth white on looking very clean now,

My Mondeo a bit too heavy for a proper load but it’s the only thing I have access to at this time, or a smart car lol
